What is Google Apps for Education?
Google Apps for Education is a integrated communication and
collaboration solution hosted by Google. It includes GMail, Google
Calendar, Google Talk, Google Docs, and many other Google
Products. Student receive 25GB of e-mail storage space, and their
e-mail can be accessed from any web browser, and even can be
synchronized to their smart phones.
Why did CLC switch to Gmail?
Central Lakes College decided to migrate student e-mail to Google
GMail because the old NetMail system was dated, inefficient, and lacking
in features. Students wanted a modern e-mail experience and the
ability to sync to smart phones, and Google GMail was chosen as the best
solution. Google has redundant data centers and currently
guarantees a 99.9% uptime to ensure the safety and availability of your
e-mail. To ensure security, Google uses SSL connections to ensure
the safety and security of communications between Google servers and
your web browser.
What is my username and password?
You log into CLC Google Gmail with the same username and password that
you use to log into campus computers with. Note however that if
you change your password in either Google or the campus computers, your
password will not change on the other system.
You can find your student username and password HERE
What will my address be?

(Example: john1234@go.clcmn.edu)

What if I need to access my old CLC Netmail account?

2011. This will give (summer session 2011 and previous) students
time to forward all e-mails and/or documents to another
account. Please forward e-mail and documents from NetMail prior to
October 31,2011. After that date, the NetMail server will not be
available. Fall semester correspondence from the college will be
